WORRIED ABOUT CONGENITAL PENILE CURVATURE?
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONGENITAL CURVATURE AND PEYRONIE'S DISEASE
Around ¼ of all men are born with a curved penis, so it’s a common condition and something which many men choose to correct. There’s normally no need for medical treatment when you’re born with a bent or curved penis, but if your penis gets curved later in life it’s a different story. Men who develop this penis curvature later on in life often experience a lot of pain and complications – this is called Peyronie’s disease. Peyronie’s disease can often lead to erection problems, painful orgasms, an abnormal curved penis, scar tissue and shortening of the penis. The biggest difference between normal curvature and Peyronie’s disease is the unusual bend or curve of the penis that comes with Peyronie’s. You can read more about peyronie’s disease here.
